123th board of the K.N.P.S.V.

Policy document of the 123rd board of the Koninklijke Nederlandse Pharmaceutische Studenten Vereniging
As the 123rd board of the Koninklijke Nederlandse Pharmaceutische Studenten Vereniging (K.N.P.S.V.), we use the Five-Year Plan and the covenant as general guidelines for our policy in the association year 2025-2026. In addition, we have set main objectives within the categories “General”, “Social” and “Fraternisation”.
General
No later than 1 July 2026, an amendment to the statutes of the K.N.P.S.V. must be implemented in order to comply with the Management and Supervision of Legal Entities Act (WBTR). Therefore, we want to completely revise the statutes and internal regulations of the K.N.P.S.V. so that all necessary amendments can be implemented at once. We aim to present the proposed amendments to the statutes and internal regulations during the Autumn General Assembly (GA) of 2025 and to put them to a vote during the January GA of 2026.
During the association year, we will draw up a new Five-Year Plan to ensure the long-term continuity and development of the association. The content of the new Five-Year Plan will be based on the K.N.P.S.V.'s objectives document, the evaluation of the current Five-Year Plan, and ideas from members. During the January GA of 2026, we will present a draft version of the new Five-Year Plan. The final version will be put to a vote at the 2026 Congress GA and will take effect upon approval.
In order to actively inform (bio)pharmaceutical students about the educational activities and international opportunities offered by the K.N.P.S.V., we give short college talks during lectures for different years. In consultation with the departments, a suitable time is chosen to hold these short presentations. These occasions are recorded in a document drawn up collectively, so that timely and structured communication with the parties involved is possible.
Social
In order to raise social awareness among our members, we are organising two campaign weeks focusing on student welfare and sustainability. During these campaign weeks, we will be posting informative messages about the relevant topics on our social media channels (Instagram and LinkedIn) and publishing columns on our website. For the content, we want to collaborate with organisations that are active in these areas, such as Young Innovators of Medicines and MIND. We also want to encourage members to become actively involved by promoting public initiatives that coincide with the campaign weeks.
Fraternisation
To promote fraternisation among members, we would like to explore the possibility of organising a K.N.P.S.V. boxing gala. During this gala, we would also like to raise money for charity through an auction. To gauge interest and desired content, we will conduct a survey among members. This survey will be conducted both verbally and in writing. If the outcome is predominantly positive, a benefit committee will be installed at the Congress GA of 2026, which will be responsible for the further organisation of the gala.
