The Committee for Pharmaceutical Policy is a relatively new committee within the K.N.P.S.V., which was established in 2022. The committee focuses on representing the interests of students from study associations affiliated with the K.N.P.S.V. This general representation of interests encompasses two interrelated categories: advocacy and policy.

Within the K.N.P.S.V., advocacy involves representing students’ interests, both during their studies and after graduation. This includes improving education, promoting good pharmacy practice and striving for good working conditions. The policy category focuses on addressing and developing solutions to a wide range of issues. These may relate to education, pharmaceutical education in other countries or, for example, sustainability, such as the management of pharmaceutical waste.

The Committee for Pharmaceutical Policy collaborates with various external parties, including professional associations such as the KNMP. It also cooperates with international organisations such as EPSA and IPSF.
