Activity Committee

Dear Members of the K.N.P.S.V.,

We are the third activity committee of the K.N.P.S.V. named: ‘AC/DC’. No, we are not named after the famous band, but the different kinds of currents (AC = Alternating Current and DC = Direct Current). We know it sounds boring, but keep it in mind during our activities. Our task this year is to organize The K.N.P.S.V. party in October and the educational activity in February. We are extremely excited for the upcoming year and the activities we are going to organize for you guys! We will start with a quick introduction.

We start with our Secretary, Ruurd Hondema. Ruurs is 20 years old and is in his third year of the Bachelor Pharmaceutical Sciences at the moment he is occupied with the educational minor. In his spare time he likes to meet with friends and he enjoys sports. Maybe you know him as the secretary of the Sport committee “Spierpijn” 2022-2023.

Then on to Jonno Rolfes, our treasurer. Jonno is 21 years old and is in the second year of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Bachelor. He walks and longboards and he also likes to meet with friends. But his all time favorite activity is sleeping, he sleeps through meetings quite some times even when they start at 13:30. Jonno is also known from the sport committee “Spierpijn” 2022-2023.

Our first commissioner is Madelief van Leeuwen and she is 19 years old. She also is in her second year of the bachelor Pharmaceutical Sciences at the VU. In her spare time she likes to go to the gym and she likes arranging flowers. Madeliefs favorite dancemove is “De tuinsproeier”, which you can admire and learn at the K.N.P.S.V. party in October.

Anna de Kok, 19 years old, is our second commissioner. Anna is also a second year FAR student. Her hobbies are gymnastics, playing the piano and watching F1. A fun fact about Anna is that she used to want to be an archaeologist because she thought it would be cool to dig up dinosaurs. Lucinda Hogervorst is the third commissioner of our AC. She is 20 years young and also a second-year FAR student at the VU in Amsterdam. In addition to her studies, she also follows the Honors program. Lucinda is a big Ajax fan, F1 fan (Ferrari), bookworm and a bit too fanatical when it comes to games or sports. A fact about our Lucinda is that she became an aunt for the fourth time in April (everyone goes crazy that she constantly talks about little Noah). Floor Eijken is our fourth supervisory director. Floor is 21 years old and is currently on the board of the K.N.P.S.V. (Commissioner for Foreign Affairs), and is the only member of the committee from Groningen. She is in her third year of studying Pharmacy. Floor’s hobbies are scouting, being creative and sports (fitness and dancing). And a fun fact about Floor is that she whistles a lot. Furthermore, I, Allison Austria, am the chairman of this nice committee. I am 21 years old and am in my second year of the Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences. I have been playing hockey since I was little and am also a big Ajax fan. Perhaps my last name already gives you an idea, but in the winter I prefer to be in Austria teaching ski and snowboard. Secretly, I am also a big booklover. You may also know me from the sports committee “Muscle Pain” 2022-2023.
